Project Overview
This project focused on designing a modern kitchen backsplash using Mosaic Code: SPZ480, a subway-style glass mosaic tile. The goal was to create a visually balanced backsplash that enhances the kitchen’s existing elements, including wooden-effect cupboards, plain beige cabinet doors, and a sleek black countertop.
The selected glass mosaic provides a contemporary appearance while adding texture, depth, and a refined finish to the kitchen space. The combination of reflective glass surfaces with warm cabinetry creates a sophisticated yet practical kitchen environment.
Problem
The kitchen design required a backsplash solution that could:
Complement the contrast between wooden-effect cupboards and beige cabinet doors.
Match the bold appearance of the black countertop without making the space feel too dark.
