Our Zero Waste Manufacturing Process
At Da Vinci Ceramics, our zero waste approach starts on the production floor. Raw materials are measured and batched precisely to avoid excess offcuts, and any leftover ceramic, porcelain, or stone material is fed back into future production runs rather than discarded. This closed-loop approach means less raw material is extracted and less waste ends up in landfill.
Refuse
At Da Vinci Ceramics, we avoid unnecessary waste by carefully planning every tile-cutting process and selecting only the materials required for production. This helps minimise excess material usage and reduces avoidable waste from the very beginning.
Reuse
We are committed to reducing our environmental impact by using water during tile cutting to suppress dust and improve air quality. We also optimise our manufacturing processes to minimise material waste, energy consumption, and the use of unnecessary resources.
Reduce
Rather than discarding offcuts, we give them a second life by transforming suitable tile pieces into beautiful mosaic designs and decorative applications. By reusing materials wherever possible, we maximise the value of every tile produced.
Recycle
Materials that cannot be reused are sorted and directed towards appropriate recycling processes whenever possible. By supporting responsible recycling practices and continuously improving our waste management, DaVinci Ceramics works towards a more sustainable and environmentally responsible future.
